Driver Application

Thank you for your interest in the Drive for Diversity Driver Development program!

Applications for the 2011 Drive for Diversity program will be accepted beginning in June 2010. Please check back often for updates on the application process.

The D4D Driver Development program provides opportunities for qualified minority and female drivers to compete in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series or NASCAR K&N Pro Series for a full race season.

Who is the program for?
Drivers applying to the Drive for Diversity Driver Development program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
• Between the ages of 16 and 25 (as of October 15, 2010)
• A U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
• A member of one of the following ethnic minorities classifications:
- African‐Americans: Having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa
- Asian‐Indian Americans: Having origins in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh
- Asian‐Pacific Americans: Origins are from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea,
Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Trust
Territories of the Pacific or the Northern Marianas
- Hispanics: Having Hispanic heritage from any of the Spanish‐speaking areas of
Latin America or the following regions: Mexico, Central America, South America
and the Caribbean basin.
- Native Americans: Persons who are American Indian, Eskimo, Aleut or Native
Hawaiian, and regarded as such by the community of which the person claims
to be a part. Native Americans must be documented members of a North
American tribe, band or otherwise organized group of native people who are
indigenous to the United States.
- All females of U.S citizenship (or permanent resident alien)

Drivers who have demonstrated their skill and have experience in grassroots racing will be considered.

How do I apply?
1. Sign up for the D4D.tv social community and complete your profile, including a headshot.
2. Join the 2011 Applicants Group so we Dcan keep you up to date on the application process.
3. Download the 2011 D4D Driver Application and submit to The 909 Group with all necessary supporting information. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JULY 30, 2010!

Has D4D gotten anthing set in stone about the 2010 legends program yet? I am very much looking forward to being a part of it.
